Auditions for musical revues in Draper
The Draper Arts Council will hold a second round of auditions for its Broadway Revue production, to be presented in March of 2011.
Auditions for A Fistful of Family Favorites: A Broadway Musical Revue will be held on Saturday, Jan. 8 from 10 a.m. to noon at Draper Historic Theatre, 12366 South 900 East, Draper. This audition is for all ages. The council expects and encourages a large cast for this show, drawn from all age groups. Auditioners should be prepared to sing an excerpt from a musical or something similar. They should also be prepared to demonstrate some dancing ability. Minus tracks are acceptable, and there will be an accompanist.
A Fistful of Family Favorites will be directed by Debra Woods, and will include numbers from such shows as Annie, Oliver!, Wicked, and The Music Man. It will run March 25, 26 and 28 at Juan Diego Catholic High School.
