'Messiah' to be performed on Dec. 19

Once again this year, the public is invited to the 16th annual presentation of Handel's "Messiah," to be presented on Sunday, Dec. 19 at the Cottonwood Heights LDS Stake Center, 6890 South 2228 East. The performance will begin at 7 p.m.
The community choir and orchestra will feature nearly 100 performers, including soloists from the community. They will perform under the direction of Elizabeth Palmer, concertmaster for the Salt Lake Symphony and a charter member of the Orchestra at Temple Square.
