Holiday Pops Concert set for Dec. 4
This year's KUTV Holiday Pops Concert featuring the Choral Arts Society of Utah and West Valley Symphony will kick-off the Holiday season. It will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at Cottonwood High School, 5715 South 1300 East.
Joining the concert this year is the internationally acclaimed vocalist David Osmond. The concert will feature your Christmas favorites as well as some new carols by David Osmond and Enya.
David Osmond has had some incredible highlights in his career as an entertainer, from performing onstage at Wembley Arena to singing at Harpo Studios for Oprah. He just completed his debut solo album, "Reflected," as well as his debut inspirational album, "Road Less Traveled," which was released in August.
Members of the 100-voice Master Chorale volunteer their time and talents to provide quality performances, many of which benefit schools and organizations providing humanitarian services to the local area, including this benefit concert for the KUTV Salvation Army Angel Tree Program.
The West Valley Symphony, with nearly 70 musicians, is one of the premier community orchestras in the state, and celebrates 11 years at the Holiday Pops. The concert provides gifts of the season to hundreds of children and senior citizens along the Wasatch Front. This is a wonderful family event for all ages. A special appearance by Santa and the audience sing-a-long is sure to put you in the Holiday spirit.
Tickets available at SmithTIX. More info at www.casu.org.
