Festival of Trees runs Dec. 1-4
Primary Children's Medical Center will unveil the magic of the 40th Annual Festival of Trees when doors open on Wednesday, Dec. 1. The event will be held at the South Towne Expo Center, 9575 South State St. in Sandy, daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
This celebrates the 40th year of this nostalgic event in Utah. What began in 1971 with 60 Christmas trees has grown to include more than 1,000 beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, centerpieces, playhouses, gingerbread creations, and quilts. In addition, there are handmade boutique items, freshly made holiday goodies, hot scones, activities for the children, and live entertainment. Every penny raised at the Festival of Trees helps children at Primary Children's Medical Center.
More than 30,000 volunteers and donors come together year after year to create this spectacular winter wonderland. Tickets are available at the door for the festival.
